What cocktail catering costs in Los Angeles
The bar is priced by how much your guests drink. Medium doubles the light rate and heavy triples it. Not sure? Start at light; the quote lets you change it.

The wellness tier price stays the same at every level and can be added on top of any bar. One bartender per 50 guests; add a second at medium or heavy consumption. Bartenders are $79 an hour and mixologists $89, with a four hour minimum. For a craft cocktail bar they arrive two hours before doors to set up and stay 30 minutes after.

About $59 a guest, all in. At medium consumption the bar line doubles to $5,000; add a second bartender if you expect it.
Sales tax of 9.75% applies to drinks and rentals, not to staff time. Card payments carry a 3.6% processing fee. Full rate card.

How much does cocktail catering cost in Los Angeles?
Our bar packages run from $19 a guest for a full bar to $37 a guest for craft cocktails plus a full bar, at light consumption. Bartenders are $79 an hour on top. A 100 guest craft cocktail bar with two bartenders, a barback and a bar rental comes to about $5,590 all in, or about $5,900 with the optional gratuity.
What is included in the full bar?
Top-shelf spirits, beer, wine, mixers, sodas, ice, garnishes and plastic cups. Glassware is $1.95 a glass if you would rather not use plastic.
How do I choose light, medium or heavy?
Light covers one to two drinks a guest, medium three to four, and heavy six or more. Think about the length of the event, the time of day and your crowd. If you are unsure, tell us about the event and we will suggest a level.
Can you create cocktails for our theme or brand?
Yes. The craft cocktail bar includes three cocktails built for your event and a printed menu. A fully themed menu designed around your brand, campaign or wedding is $375.
Do you offer non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes. The wellness bar serves matcha, kombucha, coconut water and zero-proof cocktails, from $18 a guest. It can run on its own or alongside any cocktail bar.
How many bartenders do we need?
One bartender for every 50 guests. Add one at medium or heavy consumption, or if you want the line kept short at the start of the night.
Can we buy our own alcohol instead?
Yes. Book bartenders only, from $79 an hour, and supply the spirits, mixers, ice and glassware yourself.
Do we need an alcohol permit?
It depends on the venue, the guest count and whether alcohol is sold. Where a one-day ABC permit is required we can obtain it for $1,950. Confirm the specifics with your venue and with California ABC.
