What we run for companies
We have staffed corporate events and product launches in Los Angeles since 2014. The usual requests:
- Holiday and year-end parties. Bar, event catering, DJ and servers for the whole company.
- Product launches and press nights. A door, a guest list, a branded bar and people who can talk to a room.
- Client entertaining. A bartender and two servers at the office, or a full evening off site.
- Office happy hours and milestones. Staff and a bar for a few hours after work, cleaned up before you leave.
- Offsites, conferences and wrap parties. After-hours hospitality at the venue you already booked.
Book any single piece, or hand us all of it: bartenders, a mobile bar rental, event hosts and event security.

What your finance and legal teams will ask
These are the questions a venue, a building manager or a procurement team sends back. The answers are the same every time, so here they are up front.
| Are the staff employees? | Yes. Every person we send is a W-2 employee of Platinum Bartenders LLC. We hire, schedule, supervise and pay them, and wages, payroll taxes and withholdings are ours. Booking us creates no employment or co-employment relationship with your company. |
| What insurance do you carry? | General liability, liquor liability and workers' compensation. Standard limits are $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate. |
| Can we have a certificate of insurance? | Yes, on request, at no charge. |
| Can the venue be named as additional insured? | Yes. That certificate is issued by our broker: $250 for events under 100 guests, $350 for 100 or more. |
| Are the bartenders certified? | Yes. Our bartenders hold California RBS certification. |
| Will staff sign an NDA? | Yes. Bartenders, servers and support staff will sign your NDA before the event. |
| Do we need an alcohol permit? | It depends on the building, the guest count and whether alcohol is sold. Where a one-day ABC permit is required we can obtain it for $1,950. |
| Will we get an itemised quote? | Yes. Staff, bar, food, rentals, travel, tax and fees on separate lines, so the number that goes to finance matches the invoice. |

What clients say
"Such a fantastic service. We used Platinum Bartenders our annual party in downtown Los Angeles... They all showed up on time... Jesse was very helpful in designing our cocktail menu and having everything delivered so I could focus setting up other areas of our event."Elizabeth Nolan · Google review
"Our caterer pulled out and we needed a replacement. We hired Platinums bar services & tray passed appetizers... So grateful I found this company, they were easier to deal with than any caterer or event planner I've used before."Leo DeMarsh · Google review

Questions companies ask
Are your staff employees or independent contractors?
Employees. Everyone we send is a W-2 employee of Platinum Bartenders LLC, covered by our general liability, liquor liability and workers' compensation insurance. Your company takes on no employer obligations by booking us.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our venue?
Yes. Our standard certificate is free on request. A certificate naming your venue or building as additional insured is issued by our broker and costs $250 for events under 100 guests or $350 for 100 guests or more.
How much does corporate event bartending cost in Los Angeles?
Bartenders are $79 an hour and mixologists $89, with a four hour minimum. Add a $100 service charge per staff member and a 3.6% card processing fee. If we supply the drinks, bar packages start at $19 a guest. A 150 guest launch with a craft cocktail bar, door staff, security and a bar runs about $9,700.
How many staff do we need?
One bartender for every 50 guests and one server for every 40. Add hosts on the door if you have a guest list or a registration desk.
Do we need a liquor permit for an event at our office?
It depends on the building, the guest count and whether alcohol is sold. Where a one-day ABC permit is required we can obtain it for $1,950. Confirm the specifics with your building and with California ABC.
Can the bar and the menu carry our branding?
Yes. A themed cocktail menu designed around your brand or campaign is $375. The craft cocktail bar package includes three cocktails built for the event and a printed menu at the bar. A custom-branded bar front is $495 for the decal, plus the bar rental.
