Mobile Bar Rental in Los Angeles
Platinum Bartenders provides mobile bar rental in Los Angeles for weddings, corporate events, brand activations and private parties. We deliver the bar, set it up, run service, and break it down. Since 2014 we have worked more than 1,500 events across Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura and Santa Barbara.
What a Mobile Bar Rental in Los Angeles Includes
Every mobile bar rental includes the bar, delivery and setup at your venue, and breakdown at the end of the night. Add our bartenders, glassware, ice service and fresh garnishes, or rent the bar on its own if you already have staff.
Here is what we own, with sizes, so you can match the bar to the room.
White wood bar, 6ft. Clean panelled front. Weddings, garden parties and daytime events.
Granite bar, 6ft. Stone top with a chrome trim. Most evening and corporate bookings ask for this one.
Branded bars, 4ft each. Custom graphics across the front. Run one on its own, or push two together for an 8ft double bar. This is what brand activations and product launches book.
Bar cart, 4ft. Compact enough for indoor and retail spaces, and it takes branding the same way the bars do.
Weddings, corporate events, brand activations, birthdays, private parties and red-carpet premieres each call for a different setup, so tell us the venue and the look you want and we will tell you what fits.
Our bartenders are W-2 employees of Platinum Bartenders, not 1099 contractors. We run payroll, withhold taxes and carry workers compensation on them, which keeps that exposure off you as the client. Most mobile bar companies in Los Angeles do not. With more than 300 staff on the books, a date two other companies have turned down is usually still open with us.
We deliver across Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, West Hollywood, Downtown LA, Hollywood Hills, Pasadena, Brentwood, Bel Air, Calabasas and Venice, and travel to Orange County, Ventura and Santa Barbara.

Mobile Bar Rental in Los Angeles: Common Questions
How much does a mobile bar rental cost in Los Angeles?
It depends on the bar, the number of bartenders, service hours and whether we supply the alcohol. The white wood bar on its own is $1,195. That covers the 6ft bar, four ice tubs, a trash can, and standard delivery and pick up, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Bartenders, drinks and branding are priced on top. Send us your date and guest count and you will get an itemised quote.
Do I need a permit for a mobile bar at my event?
For a private event where you supply the alcohol and nobody is charged for drinks, you generally do not need a liquor licence in California. The moment drinks are sold, a licence is required and it has to be in place before the event. Rules vary by venue and city, so confirm with your venue and we will tell you what we have seen required at that site.
Can you deliver a mobile bar to a private residence?
Yes. Most of our bookings are private homes. We need to know about stairs, gates, driveway access and how far the bar has to travel from the vehicle.
Can the bar be branded with our logo?
Yes. Our custom-branded bars take a logo or campaign graphic on the bar front. Brand activations and product launches book these most often. Artwork deadlines depend on the date, so raise it early.
Do you provide bartenders with the bar rental?
Yes, and they are our own W-2 employees rather than contractors. You can also rent the bar on its own if you already have staff.
Do you have a coffee cart?
Yes. We run a branded mobile coffee cart for daytime activations, retail events and corporate mornings, and it can carry your logo the same way the bars do.
How far in advance should I book a mobile bar in Los Angeles?
Peak Saturdays in spring and autumn, and the whole of December, go early. Outside those, a few weeks is usually enough. With more than 300 staff on the books we hold capacity longer than most.
Do you travel outside Los Angeles?
Yes, across Orange County, Ventura and Santa Barbara. Travel outside LA County is quoted on the distance.
What is the difference between a mobile bar and a portable bar rental?
A portable bar rental is the furniture on its own, dropped off for you to run. A mobile bar is the full service: the bar, the staff behind it, and the setup and breakdown either side. We do both.
